Season 5 Episode 2 of Charm School!  Self Help Hazards

Rebecca’s and my Road Sign this week is:  Choose your road map carefully; some self-help books pretend to say something but in reality are nice-sounding words with no real value added by the author.

And we have TWO scriptures, we could not choose! 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. OR Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

There are some books that can lead us in our journey.  And there are others where the author strives to be the center of your attention.  I personally steer clear of these.  The thing is, I have tried to save myself, I fail every time.
