Sacred Ground Sticky Floors Recipe: Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows
Yield 8 cups
A cup full of snowy sleds, Christmas trees, boots, mittens, and all the cocoa. A warm belly and a super happy heart is in this steamy cup of delicious creamy cocoa!
Ingredients
2/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder
1 1/3 cups sugar
pinch of salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
7 cups whole milk
1 cup half and half
Favorite marshmallows
Instructions
In a 4-quart saucepan whisk together cocoa, sugar, salt and one cup of the milk until blended. Bring to just a boil and then add the rest of the milk. Stirring constantly bring mixture to just a boil. Add vanilla. Remove from heat and stir in half and half. Pour into mugs and add marshmallows. Dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!
